Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail convenience store and forecourt at Junction Service Station. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, setting high standards, and delivering excellent customer service. They will also be expected to promote sales and drive the financial performance of the store.
Main Responsibilities
- Store Operations
- Manage in-store facilities to ensure brand standards are met
- Meet targets, manage costs, wages, waste, and cash shortages
- Manage stock, ordering, and deliveries to ensure all shortages and damages are reported within the correct timelines
- Customer Service
- Ensure customers are served quickly, professionally, and with excellent customer service
- Team Management
- Recruit and manage the performance of your team, ensuring the correct level of training for their role
- Financial Management
- Ensure all daily cashing and banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines
- Maximize sales by ensuring product availability across the store, managing merchandising, and in-store promotions
- Compliance and Safety
- Implement company policies and procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner, covering all aspects of food safety
- Manage the store and forecourt to ensure high standards are met
- Oversee fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business
- Manage the retail sale of alcohol
- Oversee food preparation and the cooking of bake-off products
Requirements
