Magnus James is seeking a highly skilled Block Manager to join their team. As a key member of the property management team, you will be responsible for the effective management of a residential block management portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring that all aspects of the portfolio are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for leaseholders, freeholders, and residents, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Conduct site visits and deal with all aspects of the portfolio assigned, including repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure that the company meets its service agreement levels and maximizes property assets for freeholders and leaseholders.
- Assist with the collection of service charges and manage the budgeting and accounting process.
- Contribute to the evaluation and amendment of budgets and accounts.
- Manage keys and raise work orders to instruct contractors for minor works, taking the budget into consideration.
- Participate in focus meetings to discuss portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in block management or property management is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively.
- Solid IT skills and technology savvy, with a strong understanding of property management software.
- IRPM qualification is highly desirable.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
