Job Title: Primary Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at Inverclyde Council.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, teaching children aged 5-11 and contributing to their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Assess and record pupil progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with additional support needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid GTCS registration.
  • Experience of teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
