Job Summary:

Riverview Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team as a Shift Maintenance Electrical Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading FM & Maintenance contractor, providing electrical maintenance services to a high-end car showroom in Swindon.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to work on a range of sites, carrying out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, planned and call-out maintenance, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety protocols, building statutory requirements, and be able to work to high levels of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical safety checks and PAT testing on a regular basis
  • Perform planned and call-out maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
  • Work to high levels of health and safety, understanding and adhering to building statutory requirements
  • Monitor and inspect equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times

Requirements:

  • Full, current driving license
  • IT literacy for record keeping
  • Good customer service skills
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties detailed in the job description
  • Background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar
  • Qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition
