Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Dispatch: Oversee the assembly and dispatch of goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery to our customers.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store area, ensuring that all equipment and tools are in good working order.
- Asset Management: Update and maintain our Asset Panda system to ensure accurate tracking of assets.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Campaign Managers and Field Support Managers, as well as external suppliers and transport companies.
- Dispatch and Delivery: Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods, including contacting couriers and updating delivery notes.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from company and third-party vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Packing and Stocking: Organize items for pick and pack, and accurately update our stock system.
- Racking and Stock Management: Record racking pallet movements and update our stock system to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Delivery Notes and Labels: Produce delivery notes and consignment labels using supplier portals.
- Vehicle Operation: Operate company vehicles when necessary, ensuring safe and efficient use.
- Health and Safety: Support a clean and safe working environment, removing hazardous products from the site in line with safety regulations.
- Team Support: Provide cover for the Team Leader role in their absence, and support the development of junior team members.
- Flexibility: Work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Skills: Ability to work methodically, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities. Understanding of material management techniques and inventory control methods.
- Teamwork: Ability to work co-operatively within a team, acting as a senior level to junior colleagues.
- Procedure Adherence: Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner.
- Physical Demands: Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects.
- Pressure Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, and specialist stock tracking software.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to communicate with internal departments and external contacts.
- Health and Safety: Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
- Reliability: Honesty, reliability, and an organized, methodical approach.
- Certifications: Forklift Licence - Counterbalance, Full Driving Licence.
Desirable Qualifications:
- NVQ in Warehousing and Storage.
- PAT Certificate and experience.
- DIY Skills: Good level of general DIY skills.
