Multi Skilled Shift Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Shift Engineer to join our Engineering team at Finsbury Food Group.
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading speciality bakery group in the UK, where you will be responsible for providing multi-skilled engineering support to our manufacturing site. As a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for performing planned maintenance and breakdown support to all areas of the site, including mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide multi-skilled engineering support to the site, including mechanical and electrical maintenance, breakdown support, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Work closely with the cross-functional maintenance team to ensure that the site manufacturing equipment is maintained and available for use.
- Continuously monitor and improve processes to ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize downtimes.
- Participate in the continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce site waste and downtimes.
- Relevant experience operating as a multi-skilled engineer role.
- Completed apprenticeship, with appropriate mechanical, electrical, and control's capability.
- Appropriate Health and Safety level of training and experience.
- Ability to travel to carry out duties at other facilities within the group and customer base.
- Effective communication, reporting, and decision-making skills.
