Job Description

Job Title: Deputy Manager - Clinical Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Manager to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Hospital Manager in the delivery of high-quality clinical and therapeutic care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Hospital Manager in the development and implementation of the hospital's strategy and operational plans.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to patients.
  • Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Relevant nursing qualification (RMN or RNLD trained) with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
  • NMC registration.
  • Expertise in setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards for high-quality care.
  • Competent in preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
  • Experience in establishing therapeutic boundaries with high-risk patients requiring advanced interventions.
  • Preferably experienced in working within acute and/or PICU settings.
