Support Worker for Young Lady in Scarborough

Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to assist a 19-year-old young lady with autism and learning disabilities in the Scarborough area. The successful candidate will provide personal care, support with daily activities, and accompany the individual on outings and adventures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks
- Accompany the individual on outings and activities, including swimming and cafe visits
- Support the individual to remain independent and engaged in daily life
- Administer medication and provide continence care as required
- Transport the individual using a personal vehicle
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
- Ability to provide personal care and support with daily living tasks
- Full UK driving license and own personal vehicle
- Safe administration of medication and epilepsy awareness
Working Hours
Casual/ad-hoc hours with flexibility, including school holidays and occasional weekends. From September, we are also seeking support workers to provide wrap-around college care at home on a 1:1 basis, Monday to Friday, 8am-9:30am and pm (3.5 hours per day).
Pay and Benefits
£14.30 per hour, with opportunities for flexible working and a supportive team environment.
