Giggling Squid, a leading family-run business in the UK's restaurant industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Facilities Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, this individual will be responsible for overseeing and implementing building maintenance for all restaurants and on-site staff accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and implement building maintenance for all restaurants and on-site staff accommodation.
- Manage maintenance contractors, assess quotes, and coordinate maintenance activities with Facilities Managers and the maintenance team.
- Communicate with sites and management to plan and complete maintenance works.
- Monitor the online maintenance platform, ProNett.
- Manage all projects and the performance of the in-house maintenance team.
- Conduct regular site surveys of new and existing restaurant properties.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and Giggling Squid's legal and health and safety procedures.
- Ensure business activities, including contractor work, take place safely and securely.
- Experience in managing multiple contractors.
- Strong time management and ability to plan site visits and complete maintenance works.
- Experience in systems management, including maintenance and compliance.
- Qualified to HND level in Building Surveying or equivalent.
- Suitable NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate with senior management and restaurant staff.
- High attention to detail and strong project-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in a similar role or industry.
