As we broaden our operations, we are looking for a qualified Mechanical Contracts Manager or a seasoned and driven Project Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

In the capacity of a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of multiple projects from start to finish.

You will lead a team of skilled engineers and workers, guaranteeing that projects uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Oversee and manage the complete project life-cycle, from initial planning through to final handover. Coordinate activities, allocate resources, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other external partners. Effective communication is vital for project success.
  • Financial Oversight: Supervise project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure compliance with financial objectives. Identify opportunities for cost savings without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, surveyors, and other relevant parties to guarantee smooth project execution. Promote a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site. Prioritize the well-being of our team and stakeholders.
  • Timely Delivery: Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines. Regularly assess progress and provide updates to senior management.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor workmanship quality, address any issues promptly, and uphold high standards throughout the project.
  • Technical Support: Offer guidance and technical expertise to the engineering team. Resolve challenges and optimize project processes.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Project Manager, preferably within the relevant field.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (SSSTS/SMSTS). Additional qualifications in plumbing or pipefitting, or project management are advantageous.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. Proficiency in project management software is beneficial.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as necessary for project assignments.
