Job Title: PE Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PE Instructor to join our team at a Specialist School in Harrogate. As a PE Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering and teaching sports to students aged 8-16 years old with Social and Emotional Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and teach sports to students aged 8-16 years old
  • Work with students who have Social and Emotional Mental Health needs
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Coaching or PE/Sports based degree
  • Experience working with students aged 8-16 years old
  • Experience or knowledge of working with students with SEMH needs
  • Full-time availability and seeking a permanent role
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Right to work in the UK
