Forklift Driver Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team at Twenty Four Seven Recruitment Services Ltd. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our recycling process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and segregate incoming plastic materials based on type, grade, and colour to optimize recycling efficiency.
  • Inspect materials for quality and contaminants to ensure only clean and suitable materials are processed.
  • Operate recycling machinery, such as shredders and grinders, to process plastic materials into reusable pellets or flakes.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure equipment is operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Recycling Operative role or Warehouse environment.
  • Forklift License.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Working Hours and Pay:

Friday-Sunday: 6am-6pm

Monday-Thursday: 6am-6pm

Pay: £11.44 per hour + shift allowance
