Fella & Jones are exclusively partnered with this international Luxury Womenswear brand, renowned for their chic designs, seeking a Wholesale Manager to maintain existing accounts and develop new ones. Reporting into the Wholesale Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding the company's client base globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Existing Clients: Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to support selling prices and ensure alignment with company goals.
- New Business Development: Investigate, plan, and procure new lines or categories to market to your customer base, driving revenue growth.
- Sales Margin Management: Set and manage selling margins, taking into account direct costs, to ensure profitability.
- Debt and Payment Terms: Manage debt and payment terms with customers, ensuring timely clearance of invoices and purchase orders.
- Customer Spend and Acquisition: Increase customer spend through staff training and capitalize on opportunities for new lines, while maintaining excellent service to the current base.
- Customer Acquisition: Increase customer numbers within the wholesale business in your allocated area, while maintaining excellent service to the current base.
- P&L Responsibility: Take ownership of sales, delivery, and profitability, justifying results to the Commercial Director.
- Brand Positioning: Ensure the brand is positioned correctly within the local and wider market, aligning with brand strategy.
- Brand Ambition: Possess a deep understanding of the collection and brand ambition, driving business growth.
- Business Expansion: Organize sales meetings on a regular basis to expand business and drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a proven track record in developing relationships with Buyers and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Possess strong knowledge of the UK & International fashion industry, trends, products, and competitors.
- Self-Starter: Be a self-starter, motivated, and flexible, with the ability to work independently.
- Customer Interaction: Confidently interact with customers, showcasing and selling the collection in the showroom and on the road.
- Communication Skills: Possess strong organization and communication skills, with excellent telephone manner.
- Results-Driven: Demonstrate a fresh, energetic, and results-driven approach to work.
- Confidence and Outgoing: Be confident and outgoing, with a strong interest in Luxury retail industry and design.
