About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our client, Behind Closed Doors, through its next phase of growth and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and delivering the strategic plan, representing the organization at a senior level, and overseeing complex projects and their successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of working in a senior strategic leadership role, with evidence of working with senior managers and board members to ensure strong and effective financial management.

They will also have strong networking and influencing skills, with the ability to build excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, and a collaborative and direct approach to partnership management.

The CEO will be accountable to the Board of Trustees for the overall strategic management, leadership, and development of BCD, and will be responsible for leading on the overall fundraising strategy, identifying growth targets and quarterly income projections.

The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, with a values-based approach, and a commitment to the charity's EDI agenda.

They will be a strong communicator, with the ability to deliver messages to a variety of audiences, and will have a strong and clear understanding of the charity's mission and values.

The role will be well-renumerated, with a competitive benefits package, and will offer the opportunity for hybrid working.
