About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are respected at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager to achieve exceptional care standards.
  • Support the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the creation of a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that promotes resident engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
  • Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to delivering individualized care and support.
