Job SummaryWe are seeking a Regional Risk and Controls Manager to provide support to our organization in implementing and monitoring an effective local control framework aligned with Group requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a culture of ethics and integrity across the region, serving as a risk and controls subject matter expert, and collaborating with colleagues across GroupM, WPP, and other networks.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement financial, operational, and compliance controls in line with the WPP Internal Control framework.
- Support the design and operation of effective on-going quality reviews and control monitoring programs.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and adapt to new and evolving challenges and opportunities.
- Reinforce WPP and GroupM policies, control requirements, and communicate updates and changes to the business.
- Coordinate audit and compliance activities and monitor remediation for all sources of assurance.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4+ years of work experience in industry or consulting in risk and controls, ethics and compliance, business process improvement, risk management, or internal/external audit. The candidate should be familiar with SOX compliance, IFRS, PCAOB requirements, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
