Project Engineer Job Description

At SF Recruitment (Leicester), we are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects with a focus on delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communication: Construct and adhere to project plans, utilize project management software tools, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Safety: Collaborate with the H&S officer and leadership team to reduce risks, ensure a safe working environment, and report accidents and safety concerns.
  • Quality: Ensure projects meet customer expectations, provide clear and accurate responses to customer concerns, and report quality issues to the line manager.
  • Cost: Manage allocated budgets, meet project deadlines, and strive for productivity gains.
  • Delivery: Manage project plans, provide accurate project progress, and coordinate with leadership and other departments to address exceptions.
  • People: Engage with the 'Switched On' Rewarding and Recognition process, follow company policies and procedures, and maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent competency levels in Microsoft applications
  • Demonstratable Project Management experience in a Mechanical and/or Electrical Manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and varying complexity levels
