Market 36 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join our client's team in Hemel Hempstead on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and resolve technical issues with equipment
- Perform general engineering duties, including working at height and with lifting equipment
- Repair and maintain machines, ensuring they are in peak operating condition
- Drive and move machines within the workshop and externally
- Service a variety of machines and complete paperwork in a timely manner
- Request parts efficiently and develop good working relationships with internal and external customers
- Supervise other workshop engineers to maintain high-quality work and safe procedures
- Assist with booking machines in and out and ensure they are ready for transport
- Maintain control of warranty parts returns to the parts department
- Experience in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Ability to work at height and with lifting equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
