What You'll Be Doing

As a Digital Solutions Architect, you'll play a key role in our digital transformation journey. You'll be responsible for designing and delivering large-scale Oracle implementations, working closely with our team to ensure seamless integration across our multi-million-pound transformation project.

You'll work at the heart of our transformation, shaping the technical landscape and ensuring that our solutions are robust, scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us create a truly 21st-century rail business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architecting and delivering Oracle solutions that meet our business needs
  • Designing and implementing integrations across our omni-channel digital domain
  • Working with our team to ensure that our solutions are interoperable, scalable, flexible, and aligned to our strategy
  • Defining and enforcing technical standards and best practices
  • Providing quality assurance and testing support to ensure that our solutions are fit for purpose and fit for use
  • Collaborating with our business owners to ensure that our technical solutions meet their needs
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale Oracle implementations. You'll need to have a deep understanding of digital/e-commerce technologies, frameworks, patterns, and trends, including AWS and machine learning. You'll also need to be able to work well in a fast-changing digital team, embracing uncertainty and finding alternative solutions when necessary.
