About the Role

We are seeking an experienced VP Engineering Operations Lead to join our team at IRIS Software Group. As a key member of our Engineering Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products across our Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance to engineering teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver software products that meet our high standards.
  • Process Improvement: Drive improvements to our engineering ways of working, including build, test, and deploy processes, to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Architecture functions to ensure they provide the necessary support and resources to engineering teams.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that software products meet our quality standards, with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them grow and develop in their careers.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of our technical strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software products.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, with expertise in cloud platforms, software development, and engineering operations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of engineers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
