Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join our Cloud Security team in Cambridge. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing integrations with cloud providers and technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes to identify vulnerabilities and protect our clients' cloud environments.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office. You will work closely with our R&D teams to create and improve our products, using your expertise in Python and cloud security to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to rapid prototyping of new ideas to improve Darktrace's services and offerings
  • Improve the performance and competencies of existing products and platforms
  • Investigate and further our unique methodology in defending against unknown cyber-attacks
Requirements

We welcome applications from engineers with a solution-focused mindset, analytical approach, and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to lead features from conception to deployment, prioritize work, and work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

Key skills and experience include:

  • Programming using Python
  • Writing code in a production environment
  • Knowledge or interest in cyber-security/malware forensics
  • Experience with statistical analysis of static or dynamic systems
  • Familiarity with Docker
  • Knowledgeable about cloud computing environments
