The Role:

  • Maintenance of Low voltage & High voltage installations, including PFC Power Factor equipment maintenance, Load Monitoring/ Data log monitoring, and Intrusive & Un-intrusive maintenance.
  • Corrective maintenance, such as transformer replacements, transformer oil replacement, and Battery tripping unit replacement.
  • Assess safety and apply controls and safety measures required, ensuring a safe working environment during high / low voltage working.
  • Liaise closely with team to understand and manage priorities.

Requirements:

  • ECS Gold card – JIB Approved electrician required.
  • Proven track record of experience in the Electrical and/or distribution Industry.
  • Experience in HV maintenance work would be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of H&S and its practical implications.
  • Good knowledge of Distribution Safety rules and their application.
  • Computer literate – skilled in MS office.
  • Full driver's License, willingness to travel within the UK as required, and stay away a couple days a month.
  • Willingness to work weekends with overtime pay.
