We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Charity Fundraising Executive to join our team in Stoke on Trent. As a key member of our charity team, you will play a vital role in building relationships with local businesses and community groups, as well as organizing and delivering fundraising events throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Regional Charity Manager with the day-to-day running of the charity, performing key administrative and financial tasks, including banking procedures, recording financial transactions, and assisting with grant applications.
- Develop and deliver fundraising campaigns and events, seeking out new partnership opportunities with local businesses, schools, universities, and community groups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fundraisers, ensuring that Cash for Kids remains 'front of mind' and an integral part of the Bauer Media business locally.
- Plan and deliver our biggest campaign of the year, Mission Christmas, which will challenge your organizational, logistical, and relationship skills to the maximum.
- Keep the local Cash for Kids website and social media platforms updated with news stories and engaging content.
- Organized, accurate, and thorough with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Energetic, enthusiastic, confident, with a hands-on approach and great work ethic.
- Able to work on your own initiative and flexible to work evenings/weekends when required.
- A team player, developing excellent working relationships internally and externally.
- Possess a current, full clean UK driving license.
- Knowledgeable in social media platforms and able to use them effectively.
Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across the UK. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our communities who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or have additional needs.
We work with grass-roots organizations that aim to make a difference to young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go. Collectively, Cash for Kids raised £20.4 million across the UK in 2022, supporting 489,409 children.
