About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with service users, promoting their independence, wellbeing, and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support and care.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of our homes, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Accurately document information and maintain up-to-date records, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of our service users, adhering to our policies and procedures at all times.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive environment, fostering a sense of community and belonging among our service users.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to achieve this alongside the role.
  • A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
  • Flexibility to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
