About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our multidisciplinary project teams in delivering development and design projects in the power sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical, contractual, financial, and programme performance of these projects, while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver projects on time, to budget, and with profitable outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and CDM requirements.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to minimize risk to the company.
  • Manage invoicing and subcontractor engagement.
  • Plan and lead site visits and survey strategies.
  • Develop and manage project programmes.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop new client relationships.
  • Lead new project tenders and quotes.
Requirements
  • Relevant engineering or town planning degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in transmission and distribution design or delivery project management.
  • Development Consent Order or linear infrastructure planning experience desirable.
  • OHL, cable, or substation design experience desirable.
  • Professional chartership desirable.
  • NEC contract knowledge desirable.
