Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Dental Nurses, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth running of the dental nursing team.
- Manage the training and development of Trainee/Apprentice Dental Nurses, mentoring them through their initial induction and providing ongoing support as they learn.
- Assist the Practice Manager in ensuring the effective operation of the dental nursing team, including recruitment and compliance duties.
- Work closely with the dentists to deliver excellent patient care, using clinical freedom to choose the right solution for each patient.
- Collaborate with the team to drive surgery efficiency and support the practice's performance goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest GDC and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and best practice in all aspects of dental nursing.
- Relevant live GDC registration.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to influence and motivate the team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with dentists, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of Private and NHS dentistry, with the ability to support treatment options and drive surgery efficiency.
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
