Senior Accountant Position

Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join their team. As a key member of the accountancy practice, you will be responsible for managing a substantial portfolio of client accounts, working closely with the Manager and other colleagues to further the goals and ambitions of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with the Manager and team to develop and implement strategies for client growth and retention.
- Assist in the management of a team of semi-senior and junior colleagues, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Update and maintain accurate records on the internal management system.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Preferably a fully qualified member of CIMA, ACCA, or the ICAEW, with PQE.
- Applications from part-qualified individuals with extensive work experience will also be considered.
- Senior accountants and highly experienced semi-senior accountants will be considered.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully dealing with clients directly.
- Experience of managing less senior colleagues in a practice environment.
- Confidence, flexibility, and enthusiasm are essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Presentable, courteous, and polite.
- Competitive basic salary reflective of experience.
