Role Overview: In light of recent expansion and a transition to a new facility, our client is seeking to fill the pivotal position of Manufacturing Operations Manager. This role is ideal for a proficient engineer dedicated to enhancing manufacturing environments and managing infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and mentor cross-functional teams within a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) to design, plan, and optimize manufacturing environments, ensuring streamlined workflows, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the execution of plant, equipment, and minor construction initiatives from inception to completion, guaranteeing adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality/safety standards.
- Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and relevant regulatory bodies to ensure effective collaboration and execution of engineering and maintenance projects.
- Assess current facility layouts to identify improvement opportunities, implementing changes and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategies to boost productivity and operational efficiency.
