**Job Summary**

Agility Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing purchase payments and receivables, and reviewing VAT returns.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Process Payments and Receivables: Process purchase payments and receivables in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review VAT Returns: Review and submit VAT returns within deadlines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist with Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of statutory reporting, investor reporting, and management accounts, providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Monitor Cash Balances: Monitor cash balances and perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Process Invoices and Postings: Ensure the timely processing and payment of all invoices and postings, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor Balance Sheet Balances: Ensure all balance sheet balances in relation to designated funds are cash flowed and monitored, providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

**Requirements**

  • At least 2 years of experience within an accountancy function.
  • Exposure to management accounts and financial analysis.
  • ACCA/CIMA studier or equivalent qualification.
