Quality Assurance Officer

GPW Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in Liverpool city centre. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, update, and generate technical documents, including Product Specifications, Product Statements, and Certificates of Analysis.
  • Ensure technical documentation is accurate, current, and compliant with appropriate regulatory/certification standards.
  • Manage and update technical databases and information systems.
  • Coordinate with the sales and logistics teams to provide technical support during order fulfilment processes.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in food science/biological science or a related scientific field.
  • Relevant work experience and qualifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
