About the Role:
The London School Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team at one of our partnered all-through schools in Newham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging swimming lessons for primary and secondary school students, catering to their varying skill levels and needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during swimming sessions, maintaining a secure and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with school staff to integrate swimming education into the curriculum, promoting a holistic approach to student development.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Organize and supervise swimming events and competitions, fostering a sense of community and school spirit.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in swimming instruction, applying innovative methods to enhance student learning.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning culture, promoting social skills and teamwork among students.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications, such as L1/2 Swimming Instructor Certifications.
