Debt Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Debt Recovery Assistant to join our Head Office team. As a key member of our Debt Recovery Team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining debtor accounts and ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Chase overdue invoices through various channels, including phone, email, and letter, within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all chasing activity.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with branches.
- Provide support to other team members during absences or high workloads.
- Respond to internal and external queries in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor the Debt Recovery mailbox daily and investigate and respond to all queries.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Line Manager.
- Tenacity and enthusiasm in pursuing debt recovery.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High standard of numeracy and attention to detail.
- A team player with a flexible approach and willingness to learn.
- Outgoing and confident personality with the ability to operate at all levels.
- A self-starter who is proactive and goal-oriented.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and best practices.
- Ability to recognize potential risks to the Company and escalate accordingly.
