We are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist who is a motivated and adaptable team member, ideally possessing a financial qualification or demonstrating a commitment to achieving one.

This position demands meticulous attention to detail and the capability to communicate proficiently with students as well as internal and external partners. The successful candidate should exhibit strong multitasking abilities and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Previous experience in accounts payable and receivable is a must, and familiarity with Xero accounting software is advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing invoices on a daily basis.
  • Addressing queries related to purchase and sales ledgers.
  • Managing daily receipt processing.
  • Documenting payment plans.
  • Reconciling bank and Sage Pay transactions.
  • Establishing new customer accounts.
  • Assisting with the collection and organization of invoices for reporting.
  • Supporting other tasks as necessary.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

The ideal candidate will be available immediately and possess the ability to:

  • Effectively manage time and workloads to support the organization.
  • Employ a systematic approach with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, conveying financial matters to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Utilize proficient IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software.
  • Hold an accounting qualification (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time, hybrid working model with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
