Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our team as a Practice Education Facilitator. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of clinical skills and knowledge among our staff. About the Role

The Practice Education Facilitator will be responsible for leading and coordinating education and training initiatives across the hospice. This will include developing and delivering training programs, assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of education and training, and providing coaching and mentoring to staff. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels. They will also have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and be able to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support the development of clinical skills and knowledge among staff
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of education and training initiatives
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to support their professional development
  • Collaborate with other members of the education team to develop and implement education and training initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of education and training policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a degree in nursing or a related field
  • Experience in education and training, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs
