Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at AGM Construction Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in various project stages, including tender compilation, attendance at meetings, and preparation of bills of quantities and cost plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tender compilation and preparation of bills of quantities and cost plans.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes.
  • Contribute to the creation of monthly cost reports and final accounts.

Requirements:

  • Completed a Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree.
  • At least 24 months of quantity surveying experience within a consultancy or cost management firm, with a solid grasp of UK construction practices.
  • Proficiency in measurements and a strong understanding of NRM.
  • Knowledge of cost planning and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for effective interaction with clients, contractors, and other professionals.
  • Experience in pre and post-contract cost management within the built environment.
  • Outstanding analytical and numerical abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
