Job Description

Sinomine Specialty Fluids is a leading global supplier of Cesium Formate fluids to the oil and gas industry.

We are headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland and operate globally, with sales offices and stock points strategically located around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Design, implement, and direct all financial activities across Sinomine Specialty Fluids Ltd.
  • Financial Reporting: Advise management in all financial matters and have oversight of day-to-day maintenance of general accounting and/or financial reporting activities for the entity.
  • Financial Analysis: Oversee accounting and/or financial analysis activities for a complex site, including local and international statutory and tax filings.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory counting/asset verification.
  • General Ledger Management: Manage overall General Ledger transaction activities and related accounting practices as they pertain to the group sub-legers, including accounts payable, receivables, inventory, and fixed assets.
  • Cash Management: Manage entity cash position, oversee treasury function.
  • Financial Planning: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and identification of financial/business issues.
  • Financial Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop the finance team.
Requirements
  • Expert Knowledge: Expert knowledge of accounting, financial principles, and the ability to apply these in a business setting.
  • Global Statutory and Tax Accounting: Strong knowledge of global statutory and tax accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Education and Qualifications: University degree in Accounting/Finance and a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS).
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting/financial management role in a similar industry is preferable.
  • Language Skills: The ability to speak Mandarin is desirable.
