About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer to join our team at Saputo Dairy UK. As a key member of our site services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of our plant, with a primary focus on site services and utilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completing day-to-day planned preventative maintenance schedules to support the delivery of the site maintenance strategy.
  • Implementing the asset care strategy to meet day-to-day and long-term goals of the business in a safe and sustainable manner.
  • Ensuring adherence to all food and safety standards, GMP and SSOW.
  • Driving a quality culture through the adherence to first-class engineering techniques.
  • Providing detailed technical guidance for the planning and completion of activities.
  • Supporting and developing continuous improvement activities based on captured field data within the department to identify improvement opportunities and drive actions to completion.
  • Improving asset care standards across the department and ensuring that the site is complaint.
Requirements
  • An experienced and time-served engineer through an apprenticeship, NVQ, or HNC with an electrical bias/strong knowledge.
  • Experienced working in an FMCG environment as a hands-on engineer, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Someone who enjoys a hands-on approach to engineering, with demonstratable practical engineering skills.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of current relevant legislations.
