Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Audit team, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored audit services.
- Manage and develop a team of audit professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry developments, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve audit quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other teams, including Risk and Compliance, to ensure a holistic approach to audit and advisory services.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities, developing and executing strategies to grow the audit practice.
- ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
- Proven experience in managing audit engagements, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
- Experience of systems/controls testing, substantive auditing, and project management.
