As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will bring your expertise directly to our customers, performing vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics at their homes or workplaces. We have an exciting opportunity for talented, field-based technicians to become part of our expanding team.

We provide the vehicle, tools, and appointments - you contribute your personality, customer service skills, and experience.

You will receive comprehensive support from a network of fellow mobile technicians, roadside experts, and RAC professionals. Additionally, you will benefit from ongoing training and ample opportunities for career advancement.

What We Offer at RAC:
  • Salary: Starting at £29,700, increasing to £31,050 upon successful completion of your probation, with a clear career progression plan that can elevate your base salary to £34,560.
  • Full-time hours with potential for overtime, compensated at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
  • Work schedule of 35 hours weekly, Monday to Saturday, between 8 AM and 8 PM.
  • Annual leave of 23 days (increasing to 25 with service) plus bank holidays.
  • Support for family leave, including paid time off and resources to help balance work and family responsibilities.

Requirements:
  • A Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Strong technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.
  • Practical experience in the automotive industry with various types of light vehicles.
  • A customer-centric approach.
  • A valid UK driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points.
