About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our Build Team in the Southern Region.

This is a full-time, permanent position based out of one of our Southern offices, with travel to site required and flexible working available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design input at both preconstruction and construction stages of projects.
  • Develop and manage design programmes, design scopes, and design responsibility matrices.
  • Attend and chair meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure design compliance with relevant legislation and technical requirements.
  • Embed sustainability requirements within the design.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a design role within a main contractor environment.
  • Experience of BIM level 2 projects, including COBie data and LoDM.
  • Experience across one or more sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, and residential.
  • Full UK driving license.
