About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Priory Middleton St George, a leading psychiatric hospital in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals for our patients and staff, taking into account any special requests or dietary requirements.
  • Deliver prepared foods to our units around site using our catering van.
  • Supervise assigned catering staff to ensure they meet operational standards and company policies.
  • Manage stock effectively, including ordering food products and checking deliveries.
  • Assist the Catering Manager in creating new menus and ensuring meals meet healthy eating guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings with service users to discuss menus, issues, and preferences.
Requirements
  • NVQ2 or equivalent in Catering, or Qualified By Experience in Catering with a basic qualification in food hygiene.
  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Valid UK driving license.
