About the Role

The successful candidate will be a qualified psychiatrist with a strong interest in community mental health. You will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with complex mental health needs, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

As a Specialty Doctor, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills, work on quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of our community mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with complex mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in conjunction with patients and their families
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development
  • Participate in clinical audit and data collection
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced psychiatrist who is passionate about community mental health. The ideal candidate will have:

  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
  • At least four years' full-time postgraduate training in psychiatry
  • Experience working in community mental health settings
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
