Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our care team, providing leadership and effective management of the home within available resources. The successful candidate will support the Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, and Clinical Lead in promoting the highest standard of person-centered clinical nursing care to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the highest standard of person-centered clinical nursing care to residents.
- Manage, allocate duties, and supervise the care team to ensure a quality delivery of care.
- Be a role model and demonstrate person-centered care delivery.
- Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults.
- Manage the delivery of residents' personalized care according to their agreed plan of care.
- Promote professional standards within the home.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and assessment to Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants.
- Ensure effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care through written care plans.
- Maintain correctly written records as required by the company and regulatory bodies.
- Manage daily rotas and delegate daily workload to ensure sufficient and safe use of manpower.
- Ensure that all new admission files are completed within the week of arrival.
- Build relationships with external professionals.
- Assist the home manager to carry out regular quality audits of care plans.
Requirements
- Experience in elderly care is essential.
- Registered Nurse with a valid PIN.
- Evidence of knowledge relating to the care of older people.
- Demonstrate a professional manner and appearance.
- Demonstrate the ability to coordinate and motivate a team.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and handle emergency situations effectively.
