Business Improvement Specialist

We are working closely with a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of a Business Improvement Officer on a 4-month contract, which is highly likely to be extended at the client's discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure medium/low-risk projects across the market business assurance and service improvement are developed and managed to the required quality, on time, and within budget, effectively managing risks, issues, benefits, dependencies, and stakeholders through their full lifecycle, according to defined project methodology and standards.
- Ensure standard project analysis functions, such as requirements capture, data analysis, and business process design, are completed to agreed standards.
- Responsible for ensuring stakeholders are fully informed and effectively communicated with to aid delivery of the project.
Requirements:
- 3 GCSEs grade C (4) or above in English and Maths or equivalent.
Experience:
- Understanding and planning to deliver for stakeholder requirements.
- Delivering customer needs effectively.
- Planning, scheduling, and prioritizing activities for self and others.
- Providing reports and updates to senior colleagues to enable decision-making.
Important Notes:
- You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
- You should have the right to work in the U.K.
