We are looking for an individual who is adept at both independent task management and collaborative teamwork. We are in search of a talented and motivated Junior Penetration Tester to join our innovative team. This position involves executing advanced penetration testing and red team operations across diverse client systems and applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in uncovering vulnerabilities, strengthening client security frameworks, and spearheading initiatives to develop state-of-the-art penetration testing methodologies and tools. Our clients span various industries and regions, and you will remain at the forefront of knowledge regarding the threat landscape, cybersecurity best practices, and regulatory requirements.
In this dynamic and fulfilling role, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting penetration testing engagements to identify vulnerabilities in client IT systems, networks, and applications under the mentorship of senior testers.
- Adhering to testing methodologies and best practices to ensure thorough and effective security evaluations.
- Communicating with clients and managing your time efficiently.
- Preparing detailed reports on findings, including actionable insights and remediation strategies.
- Learning from senior penetration testers to enhance client deliverables.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies, and integrating emerging techniques into practice.
Requirements:
- A relevant university degree or certification in penetration testing, such as OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) or equivalent.
- A foundational understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and hacking techniques.
- Proficiency in tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, Cobalt Strike, etc.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for ethical hacking.
- The capability to convey technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A persistent commitment to staying informed about the latest developments in cybersecurity and penetration testing.
