Position Overview:
The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in Systems Modelling Engineering and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. This role is pivotal in steering the development and execution of system functionalities, employing model-based systems engineering methodologies to refine designs and meet the performance benchmarks for missile seekers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing MATLAB and Simulink for advanced modelling through model-based design methodologies.
- Managing intricate Seeker models, which encompass simulations of the RF environment, Seeker hardware, and processing algorithms.
- Overseeing task packages and ensuring timely delivery.
- Developing algorithms within the modelling framework.
- Generating and validating auto-code for software algorithms derived from the model.
- Conducting system studies and performance evaluations.
- Owning the processes and deliverables associated with modelling.
- Facilitating team growth in modelling techniques and algorithm development.
- Evaluating system performance against specified requirements through modelling.
To qualify for this position, candidates should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, along with demonstrable experience in:
- Modelling and programming, particularly with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Verification & Validation, configuration management, and model release protocols.
- Leadership and management of teams.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Data analysis and technical documentation.
Additional desirable experience includes:
- Familiarity with RF systems and digital signal processing.
- Expertise in algorithm development.
