Senior Commercial Broker Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Broker to join their team in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the commercial insurance market and exceptional client relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the point of contact for an existing book of commercial clients, ranging from large corporate clients to SMEs.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships by providing a first-class service to all clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support other team members when necessary.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the client portfolio.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience working in General Commercial Insurance.
  • 3+ years of experience generating and placing new business.
  • Experience working within the EEA is ideal, but not essential.
  • Previous experience working on commercial insurance risks.
  • Excellent technical insurance knowledge.
  • Confident dealing with clients' and their board members.
  • Must hold a valid driving license.
Remuneration:
  • Basic salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience).
  • 25 days' annual leave + plus bank holidays.
  • Company pension.
  • Performance-related bonuses.
