Electronics Systems Design Engineer

Diamond Search Recruitment Ltd is proud to represent a leading company in the engineering and manufacturing industry, seeking an Electronics Systems Design Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support electronic systems design and development of new imaging and sighting systems for Aerospace & Defence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business, including product management and business development, to support new commercial opportunities and operations.
  • Work within Health & Safety regulations, Company Quality and Environmental systems of work, and all other Company policies and procedures.
  • Promote and display company values: Customer focus, Integrity, Action, Unity, Precision.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree level in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering, 2:1 or better.
  • At least 4+ years' experience in digital and analogue signal processing, and video processing.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in analogue electronics design, schematic capture, and layout.
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, manuals, and end-user instructions.
  • Knowledge or experience of the full design lifecycle, including requirements capture, sub-system design, hardware design, and test.
  • Firmware development experience, C, (C++, C#, Python advantageous).
