Job Title: Blood Donation Database Coordinator

This role is integral to the Product Development Team, focusing on the management and maintenance of blood donor databases and requirements to support Oxford Immunotec's Product Development and Quality Assurance initiatives.

This is a part-time position offering a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and sustain all database operations and blood requirements
  • Serve as the company phlebotomist for both internal and external blood collection
  • Collaborate with various organizations and companies across the UK
  • Identify additional sources for blood procurement as necessary
  • Ensure adherence to laboratory standards
  • Maintain clinical data and databases
  • Collect and properly store blood donations
  • Facilitate timely communication with blood donation organizations
  • Conduct data collection and entry for Product Development projects
  • Stay informed about the voluntary blood donation system
  • Manage inventory levels and ordering processes

Qualifications:

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong time management and communication abilities
  • Valid driving license
  • Understanding of Quality System principles
  • Experience or qualifications in phlebotomy (training available)

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Windows and Office software
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities
  • Ability to manage confidential documentation
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Full driving license and access to transportation
