We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Amberley Hall Care Home. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food service and dining experiences for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Chef in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Assist with meal service, ensuring that residents' dietary requirements are met and areas are clean and stocked.
- Engage with residents in conversation and activities, promoting a positive and inclusive dining experience.
- Ensure Health & Safety protocols are followed, adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety Manuals.
- Experience in a kitchen environment or catering background, preferably in a care setting.
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Computer literacy and basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Comprehensive induction and training.
